Revolutionary Approach to Improving Company’s Bottom Line

After researching profit-loss problems with several hundred businesses, IBR professor Dr Keith Cleland ( Head of the Financial Management Department) realized the management accounting principles he had been teaching for years had little relevance to the needs of business. Concluding that just as a seed holds the key to its full potential, the humble, but neglected invoice holds the key to unlocking the full potential of a business, he developed and tested a new approach "outside the box" that saw the bottom line of several businesses transformed in a matter of weeks. As the concept was refined and crystallized, it became known as TARI® (Target Average Rate Index).

After more than 25000 businesses, small, medium and large in manufacturing, service and retail sectors in all English speaking countries had successfully applied TARI®, Dr Cleland wrote The Ten Minute Bottom Line Manager that presents 21 case studies demonstrating the explosive impact of the system. Like most discoveries that stand the test of time, TARI® is simple and inexpensive.

Commencing with a representative sample of invoices in order to assess the full potential, the process sets up a tracking system not unlike a GPS in a car, allowing management to deal with the myriad of daily events without losing focus on the route to an improved bottom line.

If knowledge is power, then TARI® is one of the most empowering tools available for boosting a company's bottom line. The simple concept has been proven to provide a clear advantage over competitors, empower marketing and sales, increase efficiency in production and infuse new life and a sense of purpose into management and staff.
