Our MBA | Why Germany for Foreigners?

How to compete successfully under unfavourable economical circumstances

"Made in Germany" stands for German quality that is famous all over the world. Within the framework of its global MBA, IBR invites foreign executives to Germany in order to offer insight into strategies of how to create and sustain quality "Made in Germany".

The residential period will expose its participants to the challenges of what it means to become a global market leader, in spite of highest labour costs, relatively low economical local growth and fierce competition from the East and the West. At the end of the week, students shall be inspired by success stories of German companies that managed to create successfully competitive advantages in highly competitive markets.

As IBR staff and faculty members always enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of our foreign students in their home countries, it is a very special pleasure to welcome them in turn in Germany and treat them as honoured guests. Whether it is

  • in Berlin, the political capital of Germany and headquarters of IBR at Steinbeis University Berlin,
  • in Stuttgart, the economical capital of Germany and study centre of IBR at Steinbeis University Berlin or
  • in Neustadt an der Weinstasse, the wine capital of Germany and place where IBR was incorporated first

IBR will do its utmost to let them experience that Germany is a country in which people work hard, but at the same time a country in which people love to host friends and treat them well.
