How to enter global markets successfully with limited own resources
Israel has been selected as a country to inspire foreign executives to think about new ways of creating new markets in a global world. Israel serves as a superior example in this world for export marketing because it:
- belongs to the world champions in terms of exporting per capita and
- it is a country that is highly dependent on actively developing export markets due to its small size and
- has the largest number of start-up companies in the world in proportion to its population. These start-ups contribute to about 35% of the growth in the information/ communication technology and software fields in Israel - the main contributors to the high-tech industry and are highly export oriented from the very beginning.
The programme will deepen insight on strategic marketing development and the concept of competitive advantage with a focus on global markets. As partners to run this week, IBR cooperates with the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Israeli Export and Cooperation Institute.
In this residential, students will be inspired by Israeli start up companies that operate successfully on global markets. They will visit Industrial Parks that serve worldwide as a best practice examples of how to create competitive business for global markets.
Guided by IBR faculty, students will practice the application of marketing management instruments to real cases. The local IBR office is located in the historic St. Charles Monastery in Carmel Centre, the heart of the city of Haifa.
