1. Online application form
To be considered for admission to the Global BA/MA of IBR Institute of International Business Relations, a candidate must complete an online application. IBR will confirm the content of the received information, and our local office will contact you for further admissions procedures.
2. Essays
The essay you are required to submit, represents you with an opportunity to tell us more about yourself. Use the essay to detail your schooling experience and how you spend your free time (i.e., church, sport, music, theatre). We are also keen to learn more about your ultimate career interests, values, and goals. We are interested in what motivates you. Provide us with evidence, if possible, of your leadership and teamwork experience. More importantly, expand in detail on why you are seeking to pursue a faith-based BA/MA. The essay is considered an important part of your application and as a result, we recommend that you spend a significant amount of time in their preparation thereof.
3. Official module certificate
Applicants, falling into the category of having completed a UK A-Levels, the German Abitur, the Israeli Bagrut or equivalent qualification, must present a module certificate (a transcript of course work including grades for each module) documenting 120 ECTS (60 US credits) course work and grades from a recognised university for acceptance as transfer credits for the Global BA/MA by Kairos University.
Note, whereas all other application documents need to be presented at the time of enrolment, official module certificates will only need to be uploaded after having completed a workload of 150 ECTS in your bachelor studies at the end of the fifth semester.
Applicants, falling into the category of having completed a United States high school degree, should contact IBR for further application details.
4. Two letters of recommendation
IBR, in addition to the above requirements, requires two references from people who know you well and who can comment on your suitability for the Global BA/MA. One reference could be from a previous teacher, a trainer, or someone who knows you well enough to vouch for your integrity. The other reference could come from your pastor or a leader at church. IBR reserves the right to contact your references for further information in connection with your application. References can be in English, German, French, Russian, Ukrainian, Afrikaans, and Hebrew.
5. Official graduation certificates from secondary school (high school)
All applicants must submit an official graduation certificate from a secondary school (high school), which should include the student record (grade sheet certificate). All documents should be officially presented in either the German or English languages.
6. English language test score (where applicable)
Proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading in the English language is essential. In the instance where:
- English is not your native language or
- you have not received your first academic degree at an English speaking higher educational institution, or
- you have not lived for more than 2 years in a country where English is an official language.
and you wish to be considered for the Global BA/MA, then please contact IBR (info@ibr-network.com) to discuss the options available to you to test your English language proficiency.
